A generalist whose interest in the intersection between conservation, wildlife, and psychology, Puspita has been conducting research, leading projects and crafting educational efforts on environmental issues since 2012 - with Rusa timorensis as her starting species, and later her master's thesis. As a researcher, she has been conducting a wide range of research topics, from human–the Komodo dragon conflict in North Flores and single-use plastic debris in East Java and Bali to green jobs (Nationwide); and as a project manager and science communicator, she was involved in the establishment of slow loris conservation platform, the first hackathon on sustainable farming, usability of usable diapers to reduce debris on rivers, and the first paleobotany educational toolkit in Indonesia - with the help of various funding from U.S. Department of State, National Geographic Society, the World Wildlife Fund, and Common Seas.
